At this decisive historical point in time, under the auspices of the western powers, Serbia is enduring unparalleled humiliation and punishment - the most valuable part of its territory, namely Kosovo and Metohija - is being taken away from Serbia by force. This high-risk precedent is putting at stake the preservation of the essence and continuity of the centuries old Serbian nation.
That is why, our Serbian brothers and sisters, we must demonstrate today, more than ever before, unity, solidarity and responsibility for the cradle of the Serbian identity, never giving up in our fight for its preservation.
Kosovo and Metohija will never be "Kosova"; Šar planina (Shar Mountain) will never become the Albanian Alps; Serbian monasteries will never be "Byzantine and Kosovar buildings".
Kosovo and Metohija will forever remain Serbia.
